i got to know tom and katie from living two doors down from them for four years. as good as neighbors as they were, they made an even better wedding day couple. katie had everything planned to a t, including rain boots for a quick trip to the creek. she may be the first bride to willingly enter a creek in her wedding dress. tom pulled off a sharp blue suit, and on an otherwise gloomy afternoon, the bridal party brightened up the day.
the rain simply wouldn’t let up on tyler and kasey’s big day, but that did little to dampen the spirit or celebration. with a crowd from all over the country, the family and friends meshed to create a great party, completed with a cheesesteak station to give the out-of-towners a taste of philly.
with kaitlin’s background in theatre and both of their love of the arts, it was fair to assume there would be a unique flair at chuck and kaitlin’s wedding. the couple took center stage at the miller symphony hall in bethlehem before making their way to the always-elegant hotel bethlehem. that’s when things got crazy… from a surprise duet from the newlyweds to a flash mob set up by the bride’s sisters. the day was a memorable one for all involved.
pete and megan’s wedding has been a long time coming and it was worth the wait. with the weather a bit windy and chilly, we decided to stay indoors for most of the portraits and i was pleasantly surprised how amazing the luzerne county courthouse was. we toured our way around the dome-topped building and got some unique pictures before venturing to appletree terrace for a wonderful night.
